1.어둔 밤 마음에 잠겨

역사에 어둠 짙었을 때에

계명성 동쪽에 밝아

이 나라 여명이 왔다

고요한 아침의 나라

빛 속에 새롭다

이 빛 삶 속에 얽혀

이 땅에 생명 탑 놓아간다

2.옥토에 뿌리는 깊어

하늘로 줄기 가지 솟을 때

가지 잎 억만을 헤어

그 열매 만민이 산다

고요한 아침의 나라

일꾼을 부른다

하늘 씨앗이 되어

역사의 생명을 이어가리

3.맑은 샘 줄기 용 솟아

거치른 땅을 흘러 적실 때

기름진 푸른 벌판이

눈 앞에 활짝 트인다

고요한 아침의 나라

새 하늘 새 땅아

길이 꺼지지 않는

인류의 횃불 되어 타거라

1.Un-to hearts in deep night pin-ing,

And a world cap-tive un-der dark-ness' hand,

In the East the day-star, shin-ing,

Brought a new dawn-ing to this land.

And this Land of the Qui-et Morn,

Lives now in light made new,

While life's light lifts a tow-er,

In this land firm-ly found-ed, strong and true.

2.Root-ed deep in rich plant-a-tions,

And with boughs reach-ing brave-ly to the skies,

By its leaves it heals the na-tions,

By its fruit ev-'ry need sup-plies;

While the Land of the Qui-et Morn,
