천하에 퍼지니

어두운 나라 백성

그 말씀 듣도다

죄인이 믿으려는

마음이 있으니

반갑게 받는 이들

각 나라 많도다

2.죄인이 회개하고

눈물을 흘리니

예수의 밝은 빛이

어둠을 쫓도다

각 나라 모든 사람이

복음 듣고서

죄악에 빠진데서

구원을 얻도다

3.세상의 어둔 심령

진리를 모르네

이 세상 참된 빛은

곧 예수시로다

예수를 믿는 이는

새사람 되어서

사망의 권세 이겨

영생을 얻도다

The dark-ness dis-ap-pears;

The sons of earth are wak-ing

To pen-i-ten-tial tears;

Each breeze that sweeps the o-cean

Brings ti-dings from a-far,

Of na-tions in com-mo-tion,

Pre-pared for Zi-on's war.

2.See hea-then na-tions bend-ing

Be-fore the God we love.

And thou-sand hearts as-cend-ing

In grat-i-tude a-bove;

While sin-ners, now con-fess-ing,

The gos-pel call o-bey,

And seek the Sav-ior's bless-ing,

A na-tion in a day.

3.Blest riv-er of sal-va-tion,

Pur-sue thine on-ward way;

Flow thou to ev-ery na-tion,

Nor in thy rich-ness stay;

Stay not till all the low-ly,

Tri-um-phant reach their home;

Stay not till all the ho-ly

Pro-claim, "The Lord is come!"
