1.내 영혼아 곧 깨어

주 찬양하여라

이 천지 만물 모두

주 다스리시네

저 높은 보좌 위에

주 앉아 계시니

그 빛난 위엄 앞에

다 경배하여라

2.큰 권능 가득하신

대 주재 하나님

은혜로 섭리하신

그 역사 빛나네

온 땅과 넓은 바다

또 높은 하늘에

주 창조하신 만물

참 아름답도다

3.나 고난 받을 때

나 또 주릴 때에도

내 주님 나를 항상

위로해 주시네

추하고 곤궁하며

보잘 것 없으나

주 나와 함께 계셔

늘 권고하시네

4.높으신 주의 이름

다 어찌 기리랴

내 주는 높으시고

그 이름 귀하다

나 비록 비천하나

나 주의 것이니

또 영원 무궁토록

1.A-wake, my soul, with sing-ing!

Sing prais-es to the Lord,

Who rules all earth and heav-en

And guides them by His word.

Up-on His throne ex-alt-ed

He reigns for ev-er-more

Be-fore His awe-some splen-dor

We wor-ship and a-dore.

2.How full of might and mer-cy

The God of time and space!

How splen-did in its work-ing

The prov-i-dence of grace!

How fair His earth and o-cean

And all His hand hath made!

How rich-ly in the heav-ens

His beau-ty is dis-play'd!

3.In trou-bles or in hung-er

Of bo-dy or of soul,

My Lord is ev-er near me

To com-fort and make whole.

And though I'm poor and pal-try,

With noth-ing to dis-play,

My Lord still holds me pre-cious,

And holds me close al-way.

4.Our great God's name be-fit-ting,

What prais-es can we frame

So high He is and ho-ly,

So pre-cious is His name!

What though I'm so un-worth-y

I'm His whom I a-dore!

And, His dear name ex-alt-ing,

I'll praise Him ev-er-more.
