1.지난 밤에 나 고요히

잠들어 쉬었네

동녘 하늘 솟아오는

햇빛도 반가워

내 가슴을 다 활짝 펴

목소리 높여서

전능왕께 감사 드려

한 찬송 부르네

2.우울하던 그 한밤도

꿈 같이 지났네

하늘나라 영광스런

새 모습 보이니

믿음 사랑이 땅에서

온전히 이루어

햇빛보다 더 빛나는

주 얼굴 뵙겠네

3.큰 은혜로 주 영광을

나 이제 봅니다

세상 수고 다 끝난 후

참 평안 주소서

기쁜 날이 이어지고

슬픔이 없는 곳

찬란하고 복된 집에

영 살게 하소서

1.Ye that have spent the si-lent night

In sleep and qui-et rest,

And joy to see the cheer-ful light

That rise-th in the east

Now lift your hearts, your voice-s raise,

Your morn-ing tri-bute bring,

And pay a grateful song of praise

To heaven's almighty King.

2.And as this gloom-y night did last

But for a lit-tle space,

As heaven-ly day, now night is past,

Doth show his pleasant face,

So let us hope, when faith and love

Their work on earth have done,

God's blessed face to see above,  

Heaven's better, brighter Sun.

3.God grant us grace that height to gain,

That glorious sight to see,

And sent us, af-ter world-ly pain,

A life from trou-ble free,

Where cheer-ful day shall ev-er shine,

And sor-row nev-er come

Lord, be a place, a por-tion, mine
