수 없는 빛난 별들을
지으신 이는 창조주
그 솜씨 크고 크셔라
날마다 뜨는 저 태양
하나님 크신 권능을
만백성 모두 보라고
만방에 두루 비치네
2. 해지고 황혼 깃들 때
동편에 달이 떠올라
밤마다 귀한 소식을
이 땅에 두루 전하네
행성과 항성 모든 별
저마다 제 길 돌면서
창조의 기쁜 소식을
온 세상 널리 전하네
3. 엄숙한 침묵 속에서
뭇 별이 제 길 따르며
지구를 싸고돌 때에
들리는 소리 없어도
내 마음 귀가 열리면

1.The spa-cious fir-ma-ment on high,
With all the blue e-the-real sky,
And span-gled heavens, a shin-ing frame,
Their great O-rig-i-nal pro-claim:
The un-wea-ried sun, from day to day,
Does his Cre-a-tor's pow'r dis-play,
And pub-lish-es to ev-ery land
The work of an al-might-y hand.
2.Soon as the eve-ning shades pre-vail,
The moon takes up the won-drous tale,
And night-ly to the lis-tening earth
Re-peats the sto-ry of her birth:
Whilst all the stars that round her burn,
And all the plan-ets in their turn,
Con-firm the ti-dings as they roll,
And spread the truth from pole to pole.
3.What though in sol-emn si-lence all
Move round this dark ter-res-trial ball
What though no re-al voice nor sound
A-midst the ra-diant orbs be found
