갈보리산 십자가를 죄인 대신 지셨네

엘리 엘리 부르시며 고통당한 예수여

우리 위해 괴로운 짐 주님 홀로 지셨네

2. 무슨 죄로 우리 주님 십자가를 지셨나

하나님 뜻 이루려고 고난의 길 가셨네

나를 위해 피 흘리신 우리 주님 예수여

환난 날이 닥쳐와도 주를 보게 하소서

3. 다 이뤘다 하신 주님 내가 바라봅니다

내 가는 길 험하여도 주님의 길 비할까

주님 가신 골고다 길 나도 걷게 하시고

주의 뜻과 그의 나라 간구하게 하소서

새찬송가 영어 가사

1.On the last night, deep in dis-tress, Lord Je-sus prayed through the night.

He took the cross for our own sins Up-on the hill Cal-va-ry.

"El-i, El-i" He cried to God In His deep pains on the cross.

Je-sus a-lone suf-fered the pains To save us from all our sins.

2.Why Lord Je-sus had to suf-fer, Who had no sins in His life.

The will of God to be a-chiev'd He had to die on the cross.

Oh Lord Je-sus our true Sa-vior Died on the cross for our sins.

Make us look at our lov-ing Lord In our dis-tress through-out life.

3.Je-sus cried out "It is Finish-ed" Makes us look to our Sa-vior.

More pain-ful one my life can't be Than His suff-'ring on the cross.

Make us foll-ow our Lord Je-sus To the hill side, Gol-go-tha.

Be done Thy will, Thy king-dom come For this I pray through my life.
